The FT1 is a 'Functional Trainer'. This means it uses two adjustable cable columns that allow you to move in any direction (freestyle). It mimics real-world movement and requires you to stabilise the weight.
The M3 is a traditional 'Multi-Gym'. It uses a fixed press arm and dedicated stations. The machine guides the movement path for you, allowing you to isolate muscles with more stability.
Choose the FT1 if...
- You want sport-specific training (golf swings, tennis).
